Controversy: Charlie has seen some troubles recently, which involved his situation at the airport last month, where cocaine was detected on him
Feeling good: The pair appeared to be in good spirits as they headed to the event's after-party later on
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Charlie for further comment.
In a carefully worded statement, Heaton said he was working to 'rectify' the situation, which is said to have occurred after sniffer dogs detected the cocaine on his person.
'My planned travel to the U.S. last week was affected by an issue at U.S. immigration, and I am working to rectify it as soon as possible,' the 23-year-old told People magazine.
'I do want to clarify that I was not arrested or charged with a crime, and cooperated fully with the U.S. officials at LAX.'
Following the drug's detection, Charlie was questioned before being sent back to England on a return flight, and was unable to attend the premiere for the second season of Stranger Things.?
