We see Pratt running down a hillside screaming for Bryce Dallas Howard and actor Justice Smith to 'run' as he flees not only an assortment of dinosaurs but also flying debris and flames from an explosion.

They take refuge behind a Gyrosphere [one of the rides from when the island was a theme park] as the camera reveals they may be in danger of being swallowed by what looks like an erupting volcano.

In the first teaser, which was released in late November, Pratt could not hide his delight as he petted a purring baby dinosaur.

The video was shared via Twitter?by the film's screenwriter?Colin Trevorrow, who also wrote and directed it's predecessor, Jurassic World.?

Chris looked completely awestruck of the adorable reptile as it nuzzled towards his outstretched hand.

Wearing a leather band around his arm, Chris crouched down to pet the baby dinosaur's chin.

The dinosaur in the video has been speculated on social media to be baby Blue, the?final surviving Velociraptor from Jurassic World who was last seen dashing into the night after the final battle between the T-Rex and the Indominus Rex.

'So Isla Nublar [the setting for Jurassic Park and Jurassic World] does appear in the film, briefly. They have to go back there to get Blue.

'The idea is that they want to use him as a basis for creating dinosaurs that can be used in war. They also want to incorporate traits from the Indominus Rex, even though it died.

'Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard's characters get involved because they want to stop it from happening. They were obviously there in the last film and saw what happened. Plus, Chris Pratt's character was a raptor trainer, so has that connection to Blue.'???

The film's writer, Colin Trevorrow, who also directed Jurassic World, has previously stated that he's 'not that interested in militarised dinosaurs, at least not in practice'.

This suggests the plot centres around an attempt to weaponise dinosaurs, but that it won't actually feature as the main plot. If the creatures are brought on to the mainland, it could simply pave the way for a Jurassic Park-esque disaster, after this militarisation attempt.?

Chris and his co-star Bryce Dallas Howard have returned to their original roles from Jurassic World for the upcoming sequel, which is being directed by J.A. Bayona and is slated for release on June 22, 2018.?

Franchise regular Jeff Goldblum will be back as Ian Malcolm, a role he has been playing ever since the original Jurassic Park was released back in 1993.???
