And Michael Douglas looked as proud as punch as he posed with his formerly imprisoned drug dealer son Cameron at the premiere of Cocaine Godmother in New York on Thursday.
But there was plenty of joy to go round at the happy event, for his boy also shared a tender smooch with his pregnant Brazilian girlfriend?Viviane Thibes.

Michael, 73, was looking trendy in a black leather jacket, polo shirt and jeans at the exciting event, and he later doubled up on cuddling duties by posing with Welsh wife Catherine Zeta-Jones.
His 38-year-old son meanwhile opted for a blue pullover, shirt and jeans, though he was left in the shade by his expecting other half, who opted for a shimmering black number.
Regarding the pregnancy, a source told People: 'Everyone is thrilled for him. Michael is looking forward to being a grandfather.'
The Wall Street favourite also has son Dylan, 17, and daughter Carys, 14, with Oscar-winning actress Catherine, 48, his wife of 17 years.

The exciting news comes one year after the celebrity spawn was released from prison after serving seven years for drug possession.
He received a five-year sentence for possession of heroin and selling methamphetamine. His sentence was extended when he admitted to smuggling drugs into prison.?
Cameron promised to cooperate with a government drug investigation when he was sentenced for dealing methamphetamine from a high-end Manhattan hotel, and in 2011 testified as a government witness against a co-defendant facing drug charges.
Brazilian beauty Viviane was first seen with Cameron, who had his leg broken when he was given a vicious beating by another inmate in 2012, just after he was released from prison in August 2016.

After getting released from the clink he told The Huffington Post: 'I feel thoroughly blessed.
'I have a beautiful and loving family who has faithfully supported me every step of the way, believing in me and refusing to give up in the face of one bleak adversity after the next.'
Cameron, who is said to be writing a tell-all book about his troubles, added: 'I feel in the deepest recesses of my heart that there is a beautiful purpose hidden along this painful journey.'
Cameron, who appeared in 2003's It Runs In The Family with his father as well as grandfather Kirk Douglas, 100, is said to have been sober ever since his conviction.?
