'We're all okay!' Michael Klim and girlfriend Desiree Deravi thank concerned fans for their messages and reveal they are safe as Bali's Mount Agung volcano continues to erupt

The past few weeks has seen tens of thousands of people stranded in Bali due to the Mount Agung volcanic eruptions.

And on Thursday, Michael Klim along with girlfriend Desiree Deravi and his three children, said that they are safe and well.

The 40-year-old retired swimmer told concerned friends and family members 'We're all okay!' as the clan sat at a local restaurant.

The Instagram video began with Michael telling his concerned fans: 'G'day everyone back in Oz and everywhere else. Just want to let you know we're all okay here in Bali.'

A casually-clad Michael used the on-point hand gesture to further his statement, before the clip scanned to the rest of his family.

Fashion designer Desiree, seated next to Michael's children Frankie, Stella and Rocco from his marriage to Lindy Klim, also thanked 'everyone for the messages.'

Michael, who splits his time between Bali and Sydney, was referring to the recent turn of events at Mount Agung on the Indonesian resort island.

The volatile mountain has spewed volcanic debris and ash almost 10 kilometres in the air, and tens of thousands of tourists have also been stranded.?

And conditions do not look set to improve, with?Volcanologist Dr Janine Krippner warning that Bali's Mount Agung eruption would be 'like shaking up a bottle of Coke and then taking the lid off.'?

'This is an eruption, this is 100 per cent an eruption,' Janine told news.com.au.

'Lava is coming out of the volcano, there's definitely enough to cause trouble. This can get much worse, you can't outrun this.'
