But that didn't stop Margot Robbie getting up bright and early on Wednesday morning.

The 27-year-old Australian actress, who stars as real life disgraced figure skater Tonya Harding in the black comedy, was spotted strolling in the city on a pleasant morning before jumping into an SUV.

She completed her outfit with black ankle boots, a black purse and shades.

Margot tucked her blonde tresses behind her ears and didn't appear to be wearing much make up beyond a splash of rose lipstick.

She revealed she actually asked the 'incredibly lovely' Tonya for advice before filming began.

'She was like, "Just do sit-ups. So many sit-ups,"' Margot told People on Monday.

'She was more worried about me, how I was doing with the ice skating, how I was doing with the fame at a young age. She was very sweet and very understanding that we were making a film.

?She and her Brit husband Tom Ackerley co-produced I, Tonya; and December 19 will mark their first wedding anniversary.

'We were best friends and roommates before and now we're like best friends and roommates still,' the Somerset College grad told Vogue Australia.

I, Tonya - also starring Allison Janney and Bobby Cannavale - hits US theaters on December 8 and UK theaters on February 23.
