Sydney's famous blondes have been clamouring over each other to get some one-on-one time with fellow fair-haired star Paris Hilton while she's in Australia to promote her perfume line.

And Today show journalist Sylvia Jeffreys was one of the lucky ones, interviewing the hotel heiress on the breakfast TV show on Wednesday.

Following the sit-down, the journalist was lucky enough to take one of Paris's famous selfies with The Simple Life star.

?Paris landed in Australia on Tuesday night. ?

The musician was spotted at Sydney airport with her model boyfriend Chris Zylka, who recently had Paris' name tattooed on his forearm in Disney font.

She was mobbed by fans at the airport, some of whom serenaded her by singing her hits 'Good Time' and 'Stars Are Blind' on the spot.

Paris is currently Down Under to launch her 23rd fragrance, Rosé Rush.

The launch event will be held at Chemist Warehouse, and will also double as a meet-and-greet where fans will get the chance to meet the legendary star in the flesh.

Launching back in 2004 with the signature self-titled scent, Hilton's fragrance empire is now one of the world's longest-running and most successful celebrity perfume lines.

In 2013, it was valued at $1.5 billion.

Speaking about her first fragrance to The Cut last month, Paris said: 'When that first came out I was so excited, and so proud and it’s still one of our number one sellers to this day.

'Girls have it in their purse, little mini ones that they carry around. So many people wear that around the world, I always get compliments on it.'
