It was a sad goodbye when Snooki, The Situation and the rest of the Jersey Shore crew bade farewell to summers at Seaside Heights.
But that doesn't mean the shore-side debauchery is over. This week a new group of tanned and party-loving 20-somethings will give the Jersey Shore cast a run for their money when MTV Floribama Shore premieres tonight at 10|9c.
Taking the hook-ups, punch-ups and booze-fueled mayhem down south, MTV's new reality show is set in the Florida?Panhandle along the beach that stretches all the way to Alabama, known as 'Floribama'.?And we already know is going to be a wild ride.

The next shore thing: A new group of tanned and party-loving 20-somethings will give the Jersey Shore crew a run for their money when MTV Floribama Shore premieres next Monday
The guys and girls of MTV Floribama Shore look set to cause just as much drama as their Jersey predecessors, as they spend the summer living and partying together in Panama City Beach.?
Known as the party center of the Floribama shore,?Panama City Beach offers a summer of sun, nightclubs, beaches and plenty of alcohol for the show's eight housemates.
With his easygoing southern ways, we already feel like Codi is going to be one of our favorites in the house.?And - despite referring to himself as a ‘gentleman and douche bag’ - home-schooled Jeremiah looks like he might win us over with his cheeky charm.
Letting loose: Having already been married, heartbroken and divorced at the age of 23, Nilsa has some wild oats to sow, and she says that she plans to party hard through the summer
Flexing: Self-confessed ‘gentleman and douche bag’ Jeremiah shows off his muscles as he starts his first day of work on the beach
But opinion is definitely divided when it comes to ladies man Gus Smyrnios.?
This muscle-bound pretty boy insists that he is looking for a wife, and even claims he wants to walk down the aisle in the next five years.?
But if his behavior around the bikini-clad beauties of Panama City Beach is anything to go by, it doesn't look like marriage will be on the cards anytime soon.
If we learned anything from Jersey Shore though, it's that the girls can be more out of control than the guys, and this group of ladies appears determined to make the most of their summer at the shore.
Running wild:?Panama City Beach local Kortni looks set to make an impact on MTV Floribama Shore, as we see her flirting, fighting and grinding in the show's trailer
Work out: As with their Jersey Shore predecessors, the gym is an important part of the MTV Floribama Shore boys' summer routine
Our guess is that the star of the show will be Kortni Gilson, a Panama City Beach local who is experiencing her first taste of freedom living away from her parents. With her over-the-top, booze-fueled antics, Kortni is totally out of control. And we LOVE it.?
Fellow local girl Nilsa also makes very clear that this summer is going to be one to remember. Having already been married, heartbroken and divorced at the age of 23, Nilsa has some wild oats to sow.
Brash and blond southern girl Aimee also seems primed for a summer of alcohol, partying and hook-ups. Fresh out of a ten-year relationship, she is done with love and is out to forget her past heartache.?
Drama: Candace declares that 'it's about to go down,' as the housemates kick off a summer of debauchery in Panama City Beach
Family: The housemates will have to come together and look out for one another if they are to survive a summer on the shore
Housemates: The MTV Floribama Shore cast includes (clockwise from left) Candace, Nilsa, Codi, Kirk, Kortni, Aimee, Jeremiah and Gus
But alongside from the drama-filled debauchery (which, admittedly, we can't get enough of), as the housemates make their way through summer at the shore and negotiate tricky relationships and experiences, they will have to lean on each other.
Just as Snooki, JWoww, Pauly D and the rest of the Jersey Shore girls and guys found themselves becoming one big (rather dysfunctional) family, we feel like the MTV Floribama Shore housemates will come together in the same way.
Because aside from the fighting, flirting, boozing and bed-hopping, it's not long before these eight housemates reveal their softer sides, and turn to each other for support.?
MTV Floribama Shore premieres tonight at 10|9c.??
